From estimate to a live bot scenario

Carry the same logic into Veles: set comparable parameters, preview the order grid, then backtest before you launch.

    1. Match direction, leverage, grid, Martingale, and TP/SL
    2. Inspect orders, capital allocation, and average entry
    3. Stress-test fees, drawdown, and MAE in a backtest

    Assumptions & conventions

    • changePct = (end − start) ÷ start; multiple = end ÷ start.
    • Both prices must be positive.
    • Educational math — no slippage or fees.

    Frequently asked questions

    What is the multiple column?

    Multiple = end price ÷ start price. A move from $100 to $150 is 1.5× (50% gain).

Useful for comparing altcoin rallies independent of absolute price.

    Is percent change signed?

Yes. A drop from $100 to $80 is −20% change and 0.8× multiple.

Direction follows standard return math, not absolute distance.

Does this include fees or leverage?

No. It is pure price ratio math.

For trade outcomes add the futures or long/short PnL calculators.

Can start and end be any timeframe?

Yes. The math is identical for intraday, weekly, or cycle highs/lows — only the two prices matter.
