Frequently asked questions
How is bot ROI calculated?
Simple mode: profit = deposit × dailyReturn × days. Compound mode: final = deposit × (1 + dailyReturn)^days; profit = final − deposit. dailyReturn is a decimal (0.1% → 0.001).
Net profit applies (1 − profitSharePct) to gross profit; final equity = deposit + net profit.
Simple vs compound return
Simple assumes each day’s return applies only to original deposit — conservative linear projection. Compound reinvests daily gains — higher terminal equity at the same daily rate.
Neither mode predicts live bot performance.
Why is daily return capped at 10%?
Returns above 10% per day are rejected as unrealistic for this educational tool. Extreme inputs would imply unsustainable compounding.
Use small realistic daily rates from backtests, not forward guarantees.
What is profit share percent?
Profit share is the fraction of gross profit paid to a platform or signal provider before you keep the rest. Enter as human percent (20 = 20% share → 0.20 decimal in compute).

Is bot ROI a forecast?
No. It assumes constant daily return for the whole period — a hypothetical stress sketch, not a prediction. Drawdowns, fee tiers, and regime change are omitted.
